ANZAC DAWN SERVICE
Attend your local Dawn service or utilize the free public transport and head into the Shrine of Remembrance this year. This year in particular to also reflect on the current global conflicts. The Dawn Service is a solemn tradition, and an important way for all Australians to commemorate those who served and died in defence of our country.
Services are held at dawn as this is the time the ANZACs first approached the beach in Gallipoli, and faced their first bout of conflict during World War 1.
